Firstly, let me preface this by saying Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians out there!
<3

Yesterday was my friend's eighteenth birthday party, so obviously we all went out to The Roxy, got wasted, and drunkenly cabbed our way back home.
Just kidding. The drinking age is nineteen. That's next year.
This year we went out to lunch, then decided to see where the day took us. That ended up being Chinatown, but I'm getting ahead of myself.

We went to Browns for lunch; I'd actually never been, even though there are a million (Three) locations all over Vancouver. I had a veggie burger and fries, and I can confidently say their veggie burgers are not disgusting; you know those restaurants that pack the veggie burger patties with vegetables as a filler because they're too cheap for soy?
Well my frustrated, vegetarian friend, Browns was not one of those restaurants.
On the contrary, it's the second best veggie burger I'd ever had. The best are at White Spot, because there's more sauce than burger, and I'm into that.

SideNote;
If you're ever in B.C., go to White Spot. I know the name's racist, but for some reason no one's ever complained to the government. Probably because their milkshakes are amazing.
Seriously, they're the best I've ever had, and I've drank a lot of milkshakes in my day.
That's why was an overweight child.
Anyway, there's one at the Vancouver airport, so get on that.

After a quick debate of what to do for the rest of the day, H&M was quickly chosen as a good idea, and off we bussed. I was tempted by a fuzzy, leopard print beret, and leopard print gloves, but I declined; will I actually wear a fuzzy, leopard print beret? And what's the point of the gloves if they don't match my hat?

At this point, we split into two groups, those who wanted to shop for lingerie, and those who wanted bubble tea. I'll give you one guess which group I was in.
I wish I could say I was in the group who needed sexy lingerie.

But Chinatown and it's bubble tea establishments called to me, and the only men who've been calling out to me lately are the construction workers on Granville.

Afterwards, we all met up and took pictures on the grassy area near the Chinatown skytrain station until it was time for us to all bus back up to our respected houses.
Oh, and an awkward moment never came to fruition, thank god; my friend Kelly and I take the same bus home, and while waiting to get on, we realized this guy from high school, was getting on with us. I'm not sure where I stand with him now; we were friends, he developed a huge crush on me, he developed a huge crush on my friend, made some choice comments about her breasts, creeped us out, and everything got awkward.
I have no luck with meeting people on public transportation.

Anyway, I had lots of fun yesterday, and my see-through top was a success, but I knew it would be.
I have pervy friends.
I love that top but I was worried that the exposed bra might get me some creepy attention. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with showing bra, but the stares get old.

QuestionOfTheDay;
Is there anything you love to wear, but hate the stares/comments you get? is there anything you'd love to wear outside, but are afraid about what people might say?
I'm still plucking up the courage to wear black lipstick out. One day.

Love.

  3. ♥ your style. but look, don't worry so much about what other people think about what you wear. my friends and i wear what we wear cuz it makes us happy, not because other people think it looks good. if you want to wear black lipstick, just do it! i walk out daily wearing the stuff. dont sweat it if people stare. ^^ the people who matter won't care how you look if you like how you look.
    be strong. long live bubble tea. ♥Alice
