OOTD/FOTD; Family-Approved Thanksgiving Attire

_ Lace dress form Zara (Worn as a blouse)
_ Black skirt from H&M
_ Red cardigan from Zara
_ Black tights from H&M
_ Vintage scarf
_ Belt from Primark

Not the best picture, but I could only take photos in my room yesterday because my parents were cleaning, and if they saw me, they'd make me help.
Priorities, blog vs. manual labour.
You'd do the same.

This is essentially the same outfit I wore the other day, but I classed it up a bit with some more lace and a cardigan. And the belt's different.
I also deviated from my normal cat-eye make-up routine and added (my god) eyeshadow.

Face;
_ Almay Nearly Nude Foundation
_ MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light
_ MAC Powder Blush in Harmony
_ MAC Eyeshadow in Phloof! (Highlight)

Eyes;
_ MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
_ MAC Eyeshadows in Woodwinked, Beauty Marked (Also used to fill in eyebrows), and Phloof! (Highlight)
_ MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
_ Some drugstore brand mascara that I wouldn't recommend

Lips;
_ Maybelline Shiny-Licious lipgloss in Caramella (Does Maybelline still sell this stuff? If so, I buy it)

I didn't think Woodwinked and Beauty Marked would work together, what with Woodwinked being so gold, and Beauty Marked being so black and all, but when applied with a light hand, Beauty Marked blended into the gold and looked almost brown.
I bought Woodwinked on the recommendation of every beauty guru on Youtube, and honestly, I don't love it.
It's so pretty, but I don't love it.
What's another way I could wear Woodwinked? make me love it, world.
Make me love it.

Thanksgiving was the average family affair; it was delicious, and my mom made cupcakes!
Just like the pilgrims ate.

After dinner we watched TV. MuchMusic was having a 'Bring It On' marathon for some reason; why not 'Degrassi' Much? Come one.
We almost watched 'Degrassi', making this Youtube video ring true, but settled on 'The Cleveland Show' and 'Family Guy'.

Nails of the day!
Since my outfit was somewhat conservative, I decided to paint my nails 'Pamploma Purple' from OPI's Espana Collection.
You eagle-eyed reader will notice that this is what I wore to my friend's birthday party in the last post.

My outfit and make-up wasn't too exciting in this post, I'm afraid, but keeping it relative-approved on Thanksgiving is important, I think. I don't come from a conservative family, but the peek-a-bra blouse from the birthday party may have been a little too risqué.

QuestionOfTheDay;
How was your Thanksgiving? If you're not Canadian, how was your last big family celebration? What did you wear? Did you change your make-up up? let me know.

Love.

P.S. Don't forget to follow if you have a Blogger account! Looking at the no followers thing is getting kind of sad.

Virtual high-fives for anyone who follows, I promise.
